Forever Bury FC

Forever Bury FC is the name given to the Bury fans team, a group of supporters who travel all across Britain to support the Shakers. Before almost every match, they play a full 90 minute game of football against the supporters of the team Bury are playing.

The team was formed two seasons ago and they played their first game against Kidderminster Harriers, eventually losing 4-1. They adopted the name Forever Bury FC and have helped to spread the name of the supporters society around England.

It was this season that the team really came together to become a proper force. With a strong squad, it was decided that FBFC would enter the IFA Fans League. They purchased a full Bury FC away strip to wear during their matches and even managed to arrange a full squad photo on the Gigg Lane pitch.

FBFC managed to remain unbeaten all season in the IFA League, and went on a staggering winning run that lasted almost the entire season, notching up phenomenal scores like a 10-2 victory over Macclesfield Town, and a 17-0 home win against Preston North End. They quickly rose through the IFA League to end in a top ten finish and being feared as one of the best teams in the whole of Britain.

At the climax of the season, FBFC held their own Festival of Football, a six-a-side football tournament which was a great success, and they also entered into the WorldNet football tournament - the FA Cup of the IFA Fans League.

In their first full season in the IFA League (2005/2006), the fans team finished second place, and also did well in competitions. Although they got knocked out of the IFA Cup in the first round, they reached the semi finals of the Land ‘ut Gods tournament before it was abandoned due to waterlogged pitches, and the B team reached the quarter finals of the WorldNet tournament, before being knocked out by eventual winners Celtic.
