The Board Membership and Conduct Policy, its main purpose is to ensure;

  • the Society Board has the skills and experience which it needs to operate effectively;
  •  the interests of the community served by the Society are adequately represented;
  •  the level of representation of different groups on the Society Board strikes an appropriate  balance having regard to their legitimate interest in the Society’s affairs;
  •  the Board operates in an effective and professional way.

A Standing Order for Board Meetings Policy  its main purpose being;

  • the Society Board conducts its meetings in an effective and professional way;
  • the time allotted for the transaction of the business of the meeting is clearly defined and adhered to unless there are special reasons to extend the meeting;

Standing Orders for the General Meetings Policy it’s main purpose that;

  •  the Society conducts its meetings in an effective and professional way;
  •  the time allotted for the transaction of the business of the meeting is clearly defined and adhered to unless there are special reasons to extend the meeting;

Disciplinary Policy its main purpose is that:

  •  There is a clear process of dealing with members who are deemed to have committed a disciplinary offence

The Election Policy - its main purpose is that:

  •  elections for the Society Board members are conducted in a democratic and unbiased manner and the process and results are accepted as free and fair by all participants
